We started Strings.ie in early 2007 supplying musicians with Instrument Strings and Accessories. Our aim was simple: To bring our pricing into line with the rest of Europe, offer a fully automated web site and provide our customers with the best and fastest service possible.

Our loyal customer base continues to grow each day which has allowed us to expand our product range to include the largest selection of Instrument Strings in Ireland as well as offering Musical Instruments as part of our continued expansion.

As an Irish registered business with an Irish address you know you're supporting the Irish economy when you buy from us. Naturally, this benefits us all. There are many European/UK companies that now market themselves with a .ie domain. While perfectly fair, they make no contribution to our economy.

SAFE, SECURE SHOPPING ONLINE
We take security very seriously. In this day and age of massive credit card fraud we made the decision not to handle our customers card details ourselves. We currently use WorldPay to process credit/debit cards. WorldPay are part of the 4th largest banking corporation in the world. We only collect personal details such as your address at Strings.ie. When it comes to making the payment, you are forwarded to WorldPay's secure servers to provide your card details. This means we never see or store your card information when you buy through our website.

We accept Laser, Visa, Mastercard & Paypal. We also accept Cheques & Bank Transfers.

WE ONLY SELL WHAT WE HAVE IN STOCK
None of this emailing you the following day to say the items are not in stock and will take weeks to process like so many of these online stores. Our system does not allow this to occur. Once an item is sold out, it's no longer available to buy until we receive new stock.

POSTAGE MATTERS
We try to keep postage costs to a minimum so we calculate products by weight and our postage costs start from €1.50. We post to Ireland, the UK & Europe. We use An Post for most Strings & Accessories and offer the standard & Registered postal options. We also use DHL & Interlink couriers for larger items such as instruments. We aim to post any orders next working day with 90% of orders posted within 24 hours.

We offer fast support for our customers via email & phone. Should you have a question you can expect an answer quickly. Most emails that are received within working hours are replied to within 1 hour.
