ideal for recording
These aren't like your normal strings and I wouldn't play live with them. They are however designed for recording. The polished basses are much mellower sounding but they are polished to stop string squeak which they do perfectly. You'll probably need to EQ the recording to bring out a bit more treble but if you do a lot of recording you might try these strings.
