We are proud to carry Martin strings that Clapton trusts to produce his legendary guitar sound. A favourite among guitar players, the Martin Clapton Strings choice are made of phosphor bronze 92/8. This alloy is made from 92 percent copper and 8 percent tin phosphate. The high concentration of copper gives these strings a very complex tone.

The Clapton's Choice produce a warm, with hints of brightness, which is expressive and showcases the subtleties of the player's individual style. They are available in light and Medium gauge. The Martin light MEC12 are suited for auditorium, orchestra, and other smaller body guitars, as well as for finger picking styles. The Martin Medium MEC13 perform great in longer body guitars specially designed for strumming and plectrum playing (flat picking.)
