D'addario Micro Headstock Tuner

The lads at Strings are the business. I was originally looking at this on Amazon, but as always, I copied the item's name and threw it into google to see where else it would show, and Strings came up straight away. They were a few beans cheaper, and had a great delivery time (not that a few days makes an odd to me, but its important to some, so fair enough) Ive bought gear off them over the years, so I knew the craic with them. This is a great little tuner. After 2 years learning guitar, I finally said I'd bite the bullet and learn all the notes on the fretboard. After about 10 days of 10 minutes practice a day, this is turning out to be a lot easier than I thought it would - And that has a lot to do with this cool little tuner (note finder!). Its a very neat device. You just clip it on to the headstock, turn it to face you, and thats it. Every time you strike a note, it shows what note it is in a lovely colourful display (not an old school Green one like in the pic). This has made the process of learning the fretboard so much easier. If you get lost, you get back on track in seconds, not an age, as can happen when using a print-out. And its rechargeable. All in all, its a cracking little device. I'll leave it clipped on all the time I reckon. Very handy.

Bought this one as a replacement of my broken Snark tuner. It is as good as the old one just smaller, more discreet. It has a good grip and the display can adapt to any position of the tuner. Very happy with it. Quick delivery.

I've been fed up with cheapo tuners that break or don't seem to work too well, so I thought I'd try for a little bit more of an "up market" tuner, and went for the D'Addario micro. Wow. So NEAT! Very, very satisfied. Only slight downside is that as I'm a leftie I'm learning to read the letters upside down! Works well with my octave mandola and my mandolin too. (Bloody useless for my harmonicas and spoons though...). Nice one as ever, Paul! Arrived like a speeding bullet within a few days of ordering it. Would HIGHLY recommend this tuner! Cool as a cool thing in a fridge.
