Elixir Nanoweb Strings
Elixir Nanoweb Strings are the latest in string coating technology. Do you know that great tone you get when you open a fresh pack of strings and play with those complex, clear, bright tones for only a week? Then the string begins to sound dull and the tone settles. It's just not the same anymore. Well with Elixir new NANOWEB coating technology you can enjoy the great crisp sound of a new string for a longer period of time. Thanks to the coat that protects the string windings; dirt, oils, skin and other contaminants don't get stuck taking your tone away. The NANOWEB is so thin as well that you don't have to be obstructed by it. The coating on the Elixir NANOWEB is so thin that you will never know its there and yet your strings will get all the protection from the coat.
Aside from the superb coating, you'll get all the tone you have come to expect from Elixir Bronze strings. Made from 80/20 bronze the string has a warmer, crisp sound with a lively and bright tone. They are very comfortable to play because the coating makes them feel smooth on your fingers. It also reduces that annoying finger squeak. These strings will last you a long time, making it a very good investment.
This set is also available in Phosphor Bronze Nanoweb. The 80/20 version is also available with the original, thicker Polyweb coating.

Lovely 'bright' sound
Have just put these on my epiphone ej200 and I am very pleased with the sound. The strings quite a crisp sound with very good midtones. Recommended

Best Strings For Gigging!!!
Theres nothing i hate more than changing strings, so if like me you have sweaty hands these strings are the bomb! I get about 5 weeks out of these compared with one weekends worth of gigging with normal uncoated strings.I have tried all the other makes and they dont even come close to the bright metallic sound of Elixirs.Worth the extra bucks!! IMO

Great strings
You notice the difference after a coupe of days use. Instead of the strings becoming duller they become brighter. A lovely full, resonant sound from these strings. So far I think they are worth the extra few quid. The difference between these and D'addario for example is only about two pints of porter!!

clear & bright
Nice, clear, and bright tone. Easy to tune as well. Been using it for over a week now and still in tune and sounds great.
