Trad Master Flatwound Mandolin Strings are designed for Irish GDAE Tuning and come in either Loop-End or Ball-End with Flatwound Chrome Nickel wound strings.

Flatwound strings can be used on acoustic mandolins to give a unique mellower tone and longer string life due to nickel's resistance to sweat and grime. Nickel is also highly magnetic, making them ideal for electric mandolins with magnetic pickups.

Trad Master Strings are individually hand-packed by us at strings.ie at the time of your order and labelled and dated, making them the freshest strings available and contained in an eco-biodegradable package with zero plastic!

Please Note: Once installed, please wipe the strings down with a cloth, as the production process involves intense polishing and results in some grease and dust.
