I am amazed how much Aquila Nylgut improved intonation and overall sound.

I bought set 13U not being aware of the red C string - it's great though, enlivens the set though it is noticeably lighter, less tense than the rest of the set, which might bother some people. I've not enjoyed the sound of the red bottom strings I've tried on various sizes of uke so will be looking out for other sets that have a red C.

Baritone strings are tricky to get right but these are just perfect for me. Tension feels great.

Received swiftly, colour coded so you know which strings go where. Great for a novice like me. Strings have a lovely feel on the fingers and feel pure quality. Free plectrums were a nice touch.great overall highly recommended.

Did exactly what I wanted. Allowed ukulele to be tuned GDAE to be played as a mandolin or banjo for Irish music. This made learning tunes accessible for 8 year old who was struggling with pressing the mandolin steel pairs. The sound is lovely. But on our small mandolin it wouldn’t be heard in a session!! It also makes it a nice practice instrument at night. Delivery was quick and the free picks are great too.
