Martin 80/20 Bronze strings were the Martin & Co. flagship line for many years and stand the test of time as an entry level budget acoustic guitar string. The 80/20 bronze acoustic strings are the workhorse of the industry, and Martin in particular makes a very popular product. All 80/20 Bronze guitar strings are made with a combination of 80 percent copper and 20 percent zinc. They produce a more mellow tone throughout the sustain, with a crisper attack when strummed.

The Martin 80/20 are made with a quality steel core wire and wrapped with the bronze alloy that produces a brighter, warmer sound throughout the ring of the string. Since they are made of these quality materials, your strings will sound crispier and brighter for the lifespan of the string. Designed and manufactured by Martin & Co. every care and patience is taken to produce these quality acoustic guitar strings, right down to the sealed packaging, which reduces any tarnishing of the strings.
