These are wonderfully satisfying strings to play on: nice mellow sound, very easy on the fingers, no squeaks. I’m new to jazz playing, so hadn’t used them before, but they’ve given new life to my old hollow-body Hofner. Have a listen if you like: https://youtu.be/xUYHNgdc4gc.

Flat wound...

First the service was excellent the strings arrived in a matter of days. I am using them on an archtop guitar for a smoother sound. They sound good but until I have the opportunity to use them in a live gig I can’t give a final opinion but I am optimistic.
