a nice bright sound and more than average longevity make this a winner for me , a great all rounder

Yaaaa, I'm not too sure about Elixir quality anymore, bought them for years but I think over the past while they are losing the edge. After a couple of plays now ye feel them becoming dull, losing their brightness, and therefore needing changing more often.

I was expecting a top quality product and I was not disappointed . I was kept informed through all stages of delivery and my strings arrived in timely fashion. Well done. Thanks

I've been using Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze 12 guage strings for years now. Did a little classical guitar many years ago and I decided to go back to a bit of classical on my acoustic guitar. So, I changed to 11 guage Custom Light strings to see if there was a noticeable difference. There certainly is from a playing point of view. Easier to fingerpick , less strain on my fingers and I still get the lovely tone I expected and had always been getting from Elixir strings. And they last a lot longer than other brands. Havn't had ultra lights for years. They make fingering strings easier for sure. And yes, they lose a little volume. However, I wanted them for playing at home and for fingerpicking. And for that they are excellent. Have used Elixer for years , they have always done the job. Strings.ie excellent. Reaonable price, always send a couple of complementary picks which is nice...they even sent a couple of sucky sweets this time. Sure, me grandmother will never be dead while strings.ie are in buisness!

I've been getting my strings from these guys for a while now and they have plenty of options as well as other accessories, the delivery time is very fast to. I think it would be cool to see them make custom cables of various lengths and sell patch cables like the ebs which a lot of people are using now.
