Elixir Single Strings with Elixir NANOWEB technology coats the string to keep it clean and sounding fresh. The new NANOWEB coating is finer than their polyweb coating for a more natural string feel. So, you can play unobstructed with the tone you have come to expect from Elixir Phosphor Bronze.
Elixir Single Strings The string begins its life with a core of anti-rust plated plain steel string that is corrosion resistant. Then only the highest quality copper/tin allow is used in the wrap to produce an especially crisp, bright and warm sounding string.

Elixer strings
Use them on my bouzouki. They just last forever

I am using them as D andG string on tenor banjo and I found that the were very easily tuned ,stay in tune very well and sound great .I use 34 gauge for G and 26 for D.I thought 34 might be a bit light but not at all in my opinion the sound great
