Not bad for martins
I had a lot of bad experience in the past with Martin strings but this brand is a lot better generally standard martins rust on me in 2 weeks but the marquis brand keep going they have a slight coating on them and they sound great well worth a try

Lovely Strings
I've been experimenting with different strings on my Mcilroy Guitar. I'm really enjoying the Martin Bronze Marquis. These strings have a silk wrap around the ball end of the string. The idea being that the silk will help protect the bridge but many people claim the silk changes the tone of the strings. They certainly aren't too bright. I hate the sound of new strings and find they don't reach their optimum sound until an hour or so of playing. However, Marquis sound pretty good straight away and even better after playing in. I've been gigging with these strings and they're reliable. Great strings, give them a try!
