Ernie ball Slinky Bass Strings have been a best seller for decades. These Bass strings come in a variety of gauges to provide even the most picky of bass players all the flexibility and freedom of choice available.

The Regular Slinky Bass are round wound nickel plated steel wrapped around tin plated hexagon shaped steel core wire. This combination gives longevity to your sound but also, and most importantly, it gives you nice defined highs (without being too bright) and nice rounded lows. They have a warmer sound than the stainless steels. Ernie Ball Bass Strings give you reliability and performance to count on.

    I spent quite some time trying out different brands of strings, trying to find strings that stayed bright for longer and suited my tastes. After trying most brands i settled on Ernie Ball. First with the hybrid slinky's but i wanted heavier G and D strings. It was while looking around on this website that i found these strings. AND I LOVE THEM!!! And the very competative price.     Great strings for my Carbon fibre bass!

    I find the tension of the super slinky 5s great for my style of playing.Plenty of weight in the sound but easy to bend. Just did a recording session of Celtic music on my Alastair Hay "Flow" carbon fibre bass (made in Ireland) with these strings, great combination, sound wicked! I'll definitely use these again.
