Martin Authentic Lifespan Strings

The Martin Authentic Lifespan 2.0 Strings series is designed for longevity. They are treated with Martin's Proprietary solution, which extends the life of your string. It does so by keeping the dirt, grime and sweat off the string, which as we all know will make strings sound dull and lifeless.

The lifespan treatment does not interfere with the known Phosphor Bronze sound, a tone that Martin can maintain because the treatment is incredibly thin. Phosphor Bronze is an alloy made with 92 percent copper and 2 percent phosphate. Remember, you want a high concentration of copper if you want those complex crisp high register overtones that the phosphor bronze gives you with plenty of harmonics. Great for many different styles of play.
