Martin Mandolin Strings
Martin M400 Mandolin Strings are made from 80/20 bronze. Bronze is made from an alloy of 80 percent copper and 20 percent zinc, and the bronze wire is wrapped around a tin plated steel core wire, giving the strings brightness, overtones, and projection.

Well, they're Martin's aren't they? Always a good start! They've given my trusty old mandolin a new lease of life. Haven't felt too happy playing it for a while as it sounded "dead", but now it's sounding bright a button! Thanks Paul!!!!
