The strings are exactly what I imagined they would be. Massively impressed by strings.ie too, they have gained a loyal customer!

I've tried various different string manufacturers and gauges throughout my years of playing guitar and always return to this particular set cos they offer consistent quality, tone and longevity. Get them at a fair price on strings.ie too which saves me the hassle of having to go into the city to buy 'em.

I've always loved the D'addario sound and these strings being heavy are full and fat. Great strings for Blues and rhythm.

I bought this along with a set of http://www.strings.ie/elixir-12102-nanoweb-electric-guitar-strings-11-49/ as a backup set in case a string broke etc. I finally changed my Elixirs as they'd been on awhile and I need to do some work on the wiring of the PUP's, these were all I had about to use. They frankly suck, they feel horrible to touch and the tone is just dull. It's been an eye opener for me cause spending €12 euro for a set of elixirs when I could get nearly 3 of these for the same price I thought I'd save a penny, but I haven't. I'm buying the same Elixirs I bought before and getting these god awful strings off my electric asap. Don't waste your time buying these and just buy the elixirs for €12.
